I would say that a DH croudsourcing literature project could be a challenge for my students. First of all, because they could learn to recognise the sources of the texts and secondly because they could transcribe difficult handwritten of the past. In general, I think that this project is a unique implement for teaching literature, especially when collaboration between students is the purpose of our teaching.
