I could stress that applying a DH croudsourcing literature project at a Greek school would be difficult due to Greek language. That means, it has to be in English in order to collect a variety of comments and proposals from all over the world. So, the Greek students must speak and write fluently.
But they could collaborate in Greek language with students national wide, or with Greek schools abroad . Otherwise, the English teacher could organise it during their lessons.
More or less, I believe we could try itI would say that a DH croudsourcing literature project could be a challenge for my students. First of all, because they could learn to recognise the sources of the texts and secondly because they could transcribe difficult handwritten of the past. In general, I think that this project is a unique implement for teaching literature, especially when collaboration between students is the purpose of our teaching.
Digital storytelling creates space for meaningful listening. Digital stories provide students with the opportunity to digest information in a meaningful way. This is particularly important in an age where people are bombarded with stories and information. Digital stories allow teachers to genuinely engage students in the story’s message.
Digital storytelling persuades the brain and the heart. Digital stories can teach students the value of emotional rhetoric, allowing them to explore new ways of acting or thinking differently. These stories can elicit emotional responses in students and encourage them to pursue topics that they’re passionate about.
The method allows students to showcase their learning to their peers. Students benefit not only from receiving information through digital stories but also from making digital stories that feature their experiences and learnings. The many aspects of creating a digital story improve students’ technical skills and hone research and writing skills as well.
I find rather challenging the idea of implementing a digital humanities literature project in my school. The advantages are numerous: very appealing to students due to their familiarization with the digital world, easier to find data, ideal for combining different data sources and unlimited opportunities for creating a digital open source of teaching and learning. The disadvantages I could recognize consist in the poor technological infrastructure of schools in my country, as well as the inherent reservation of colleagues/teachers towards the use of digital means in human sciences.
Αυτή η δραστηριότητα μας κινεί το ενδιαφέρον μιας και μπαίνουμε στη θέση του καθηγητή και είμαστε σε ετοιμότητα να αναλύσουμε το θέμα της ψηφιακής λογοτεχνίας. Το συγκεκριμένο θέμα της ανθρωπιστικής ψηφιακής λογοτεχνίας θα προβληματίσει τους μαθητές και σίγουρα θα κάνει το μάθημα περισσότερο ευχάριστο από τον παραδοσιακό τρόπο διδαχής της λογοτεχνίας.
είμαι υπέρ της υλοποίησης της ψηφιακής ανθρωπιστικής λογοτεχνίας, γιατί θα βοηθήσει τους μαθητές/τις μαθήτριες στην κατανόηση του μαθήματος, καθώς είναι εξοικειωμένοι με τα ψηφιακά μέσα, τα οποία αποτελούν μεγάλο μέρος της καθημερινής τους ζωής, και θα κάνει το μάθημα πιο ενδιαφέρον και καθόλου πληκτικό.
Η ψηφιακή διδασκαλία της λογοτεχνίας, εφόσον υπάρχει ο ενδεδειγμένος τεχνολογικός εξοπλισμός, θα μπορούσε να είναι πολύ αποτελεσματική δεδομένου του ότι οι μαθητές είναι απόλυτα εξοικειωμένοι με την τεχνολογία.
Η χρήση της τεχνολογίας θα διευκόλυνε στην άμεση αναζήτηση πληροφοριών για τη ζωή του συγγραφέα, για το ιστορικό πλαίσιο συγγραφής του έργου, το λογοτεχνικό ρεύμα που εκπροσωπεί, για τις τεχνική του, για την κριτική που δέχτηκε, για την αποδοχή που είχε όταν γράφτηκε αλλά και μεταγενέστερα ή για τη γενικότερη επίδραση του κειμένου στη λογοτεχνία και στις άλλες τέχνες.
Ο εκπαιδευτικός ωστόσο θα πρέπει να προσέξει ώστε η συγκέντρωση τόσο πολλών πληροφοριών να μην αποκόψουν τον μαθητή από την ουσία της λογοτεχνίας, που είναι τι συναισθήματα και τι σκέψεις του δημιουργεί το κείμενο. Τι αποτύπωμα του αφήνει η επαφή του με αυτό. Είναι απαραίτητος ο διάλογος με τους μαθητές σε σχέση με την πρόσληψη του κειμένου και ίσως η δημιουργία κάποιων σχετικών ασκήσεων ή εργασιών.
