SciStarter is a globally acclaimed online citizen science hub where more than 3,000 projects from all over the internet have been organized and made searchable. A research affiliate of Arizona State University (ASU), SciStarter hosts an active community of over 100,000 registered citizen scientists and millions of additional site visitors. Collaboration with universities, libraries, museums, lifelong learning centers, and other organizations aims to increase awareness of and engagement in citizen science.
Users get a free SciStarter account in order to access SciStarter dashboard. ENTICING participants will find useful projects mostly of political and social sciences either as a chance to provide crowdsourcing activities for their students or to get inspiring ideas (e.g. which research criteria to apply etc.) to create a new crowdsourcing project for classroom use.
