Policy framework for the digital culture
Content
The Flemish Government aims to implement the policy framework for digital culture through 7 priorities, which are translated to concrete actions. One of these priorities is the creation of open and accessible digital cultural content, which will be achieved by:
  • The development of a regulatory framework on open data in the cultural sector, including a definition of open data, an operational strategy and model licenses for holders
  • The installation of a data hub and the construction of a common reference architecture. From the data hub, services will be developed both for the cultural sector (standardisation, PIDs) and for the public (crowdsourcing, open data)
