Foclóir Stairiúil na Gaeilge
Foclóir Stairiúil na Gaeilge is a research project of the Royal Irish Academy, tasked with the production of a dictionary of Modern Irish (c1600-2000) based on historical principles and drawn from written and oral sources from the period.
The production of the historical dictionary for the modern language is a stated policy aim of the Irish Government in respect of its strategy for Irish, and is part-funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.
