The ERMIS-F project is designed to combine three different elements: a) an Integrated Public Service, b) a Digital System and, c) an Online Information Platform regarding floods and, at a later time, other natural and environmental risks.
Among others, ERMIS-F features a Crowdsourcing application, to record real-time information on flood events from mobile phones.
Interested citizens can share a flood event & its effects through photos in real time, so that relevant authorities can obtain real-time data.
