1001 Stories of Denmark
1001 Stories of Denmark was created so that the public could learn more about danish cultural heritage and share its knowledge with others. It displays stories about places written by 180 countries’ experts on danish cultural heritage and history and citizens are also invited to contribute with their stories.
The website is user driven: participants can contribute with comments, photos, stories from a place and recommendations, and can place new dots on the map and create new routes. Beyond the map visualisation, locations are also displayed in a timeline.
