PARTICIPEDIA
PARTICIPEDIA is a global network and crowdsourcing platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, policymakers, activists, and anyone interested in public participation and democratic innovations. Users of this network can explore a database of cases, methods, and organizations, download data in CVC files, or do multiple research by entries. They can also contribute to expand the project’s database by editing existing content or publishing their own. This DH crowdsourcing project is of great utility. Publishing entries on Participedia provides increased discoverability of work, while also contributing to a collaborative effort to document examples of public participation and democratic innovation. It can also be applied in teaching. Teachers can use Participedia in the classroom to engage students and showcase their research.
